What A. Miller Petsitting offers

Which petsitting service is right for my household?

A. Miller Petsitting provides personalized in-home care for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, aquatics, livestock, seniors, and pets with special needs in Palm Harbor, Dunedin, and nearby communities.

A 30- or 45-minute drop-in works well for meals, fresh water, potty breaks, litter care, medication, playtime, and routine check-ins. A 60-minute extended visit gives pets more time for walks, enrichment, companionship, or a slower medical routine. Overnight care covers one continuous trip from departure through return, combining home presence at night with the daytime routine discussed with Alex. Every completed visit includes photo updates.

New clients first request a complimentary 30-minute meet-and-greet; returning clients can build one visit or a multi-date care plan online. Requests are not automatically confirmed. Alex reviews the requested dates and care details before contacting the client with confirmation and payment details.

30 or 45 minutes

What is included in a drop-in pet visit?

Drop-ins follow the routine you and Alex review together. Depending on the household, that can mean a potty break or walk, meals and fresh water, litter-box care, playtime, basic routine reinforcement, medication administration, and a home check. The 45-minute option leaves more room for pets who need extra movement, a slower pace, or more companionship.

Existing clients should request drop-ins at least one day ahead. New clients need a completed meet-and-greet and at least two days' notice. Availability shown online can change until Alex confirms the request.

60 minutes

When should I choose an extended drop-in?

A 60-minute visit is useful when a quick check-in would feel rushed. It creates room for a longer walk, enrichment, patient feeding, multiple pets, detailed medication routines, or calm companionship for an anxious pet. Alex still follows the household's normal instructions and sends photo updates after the visit.

If pets have different needs, explain the complete routine in the booking request. Alex will review whether one extended visit is the right fit or whether the schedule should be adjusted.

From departure through return

How does in-home overnight petsitting work?

An overnight request covers one continuous stay rather than separate blocks with gaps. You choose the departure and return dates first, then the times, and describe how long your pets are comfortable being alone. Alex reviews the full trip and planned care routine before confirming availability.

Overnight stays require at least 14 days' notice. The primary overnight area is Palm Harbor, Dunedin, and nearby communities; for the right fit, Alex may consider overnight travel as far as Fort Myers or Naples. Ask before planning around a long-distance stay.

Experience beyond the basics

Can you care for special-needs or nontraditional pets?

Alex's experience includes big dogs and bully breeds, cats, birds, reptiles, aquatics, livestock, senior pets, medication routines, insulin administration, and households with uncommon care needs. The safest answer depends on the individual animal and routine, so share the complete details during the meet-and-greet or inquiry. Alex will be transparent about experience, comfort, and fit.

Petsitting supports the routine provided by the family and veterinary team; it does not replace veterinary care. Use the contact form before booking if a routine is medically complex or time-sensitive.

Where care is available

Palm Harbor, Dunedin, and surrounding areas.

A. Miller Petsitting comes to the client's home; there is no public storefront or drop-off location. Palm Harbor and Dunedin are the primary service areas, and nearby communities may also be available.

Long-distance availability is limited to overnight care. Alex may travel as far as Fort Myers and Naples for the right fit. Send the service address and trip details through the contact form before relying on long-distance availability.
